DECEASED: Mr. Douglas Lee McDonald age 79 of Alpine, TN passed away at the Signature Health Care in Jamestown, TN on Monday evening, May 25, 2015.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Douglas Lee McDonald was born in Alpine, Overton Co., TN on March 10, 1936 to the late Bugg and Virgie Newberry McDonald. Doug was employed with Livingston Limestone Company for a number of years.
SURVIVORS: Son: David Lee McDonald and his wife Deborah of Alpine, TN and 2 very special Grandsons: Dakota and Dylan McDonald both of Alpine, TN.
PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his Parents: Wife : Mary Frances McDonald.
PALLBEARERS: Jerry Linder, Bobby Almonrode, Kevin Choate, Michael Choate, Christ Choate, Freddie Paul. Honorary: Jerry Hancock, David Tucker, Clifford Paul, Carl Ray Paul, Robert Paul.
SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held Mr. Douglas Lee McDonald will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 @ 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Hill-Gunter Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 starting at 5pm to 9pm at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Howard Scroggins.
