Donald Carl Marsee, Sr. age 76 passed away at his home in Livingston, TN Sunday morning March 12, 2017. He was born August 8, 1940 in Williamsburg, KY to Emmett and Martha Marsee, and was the youngest of 10 children. At only 13 he quit school after 8th grade to help his father and brothers on their farm. As a young man he went to Detroit, MI to find work and later met and married Sharon Lynn Allen on March 18, 1961 and they had two children. In 1990 they relocated to Livingston, TN to be closer to family where he worked and later retired from S&S Precision in Sparta, TN. He was an active member of Poplar Springs Church, an avid coon hunter, and enjoyed raising chickens, guineas, quail and wild turkey. His greatest love and favorite pastime was having his grandchildren and great grandchildren with him on the farm.

He is survived by his wife Sharon of 56 years, daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Ron Romzek, son and daughter-in-law Donald and Kimberly Marsee, five granchildren Scott Romzek, Rachel Allen, Cody Marsee, Justin Marsee and Makala Marsee, four great grandchildren Ryan and Wesley Romzek and Evie and Barrett Allen, brothers Charlie Marsee of Fraser, MI, Clayton Marsee of Knoxville, TN, Sillus Marsee in Florence, KY, sisters Jessie Prewitt of Williamsburg, KY and Lucy Renner of Mason, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 15th at 1PM from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston, TN with burial to follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Hall Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, March 14th from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
