DECEASED: Mrs. Dixie Sherrill age 73 of Livingston, TN passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Dixie Smith Sherrill was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on April 23, 1941 to the late Clarence and Susie Cantrell Smith.
SURVIVORS: 1 Son: James Matthew Sherrill of Monroe, TN 1 Daughter: Lisa Emswiller of Spiceland, Indiana 2 Step Daughters: Kathy Parkins of Tennessee and Linda Thompson of Florida 3 Step Sons: Gary McKinney, Brian McKinney both of Indiana, Mark McKinney of Maryland. 2 Sisters: Wanda Smith, Aletha Fiser. 4 Brothers: Larry Smith, Danny Smith, Mitchell Smith, Marshall Smith.
3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.
PRECEEDED IN DEATH:In addition to her parents: Husband: Gene McKinney. Father of her children: James Sherrill. 1 Sister: Rita Markich. Brother: Steve Smith.
PALLBEARERS: Matt Sherrill, Mitchell Smith, Tim McAvene, Jason Smith, Darrell Keys, Robert Fowler.
SERVICES/BURIAL: Services for Dixie Smith Sherrill will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 @ 2pm from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Overton Co. memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 11am till time of services at 2pm. Officiating will be Bro. Nolan Cantrell and Bro. Chris Reagan.
