DECEASED: Mr. Bruce Denton Thompson age 76 of Cookeville in Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Bruce Denton Thompson was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on August 31, 1943 to the late Arlis and Londus (Bowers) Thompson. Bruce was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Bruce is survived by his wife Peggy (Nelson) Thompson and 2 Sons, Eldon Thompson and Arlis Thompson also 3 Daughters, Sherry Green, Lorene Clark, Peggy Sue Cooper. Also surviving 13 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Denton Thompson will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 12 noon from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Crawford Cemetery in the Hardys Chapel Community of Overton Co. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening Dec. 1 ^st starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Norman Carter and Scottie Nelson. The family has requested the in lieu of flowers please make donations toward funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
