DECEASED: Mrs. Velma Dean Smith age 75 of Monterey, Putnam Co., TN passed from this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Velma Smith was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on August 16, 194 to William Henry and Marian McClain Spivey. Velma was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist church. She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Brother: William (Bill) Spivey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Dean Smith will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the McDonald Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning starting at 11 AM until services begin Bro. Danny Hembree will be officiating the service.
