DECEASED: Mrs. Betty Dean Mabe age 72 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed away on Thursday morning, April 13, 2023 at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Overton Co., TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Betty Dean Mabe was born Thursday, January 4, 1951 to the late Floyd Leon Kennell and Dorothy Elise Bumbalough. Mrs. Betty was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family and she will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Son: Richard Hammock and his wife Jody; Daughter: Melissa Staggs; Sister: Lela Anne Ledford; 2 Brothers: Michael Charles Kernell and Donald Richard (Rick) Kernell; 4 Granddaughters. Also survived by a host of other family and her church family and friends.

PRECEDED: Husband: Alvin Junior Mabe; Son:Robert Eugene Mabe; Mother: Dorothy Elese Bumbalough Kernell; Father: Floyd Leon Kernell; Siblings: Shirley Leon Kernell, Linnie Marie Hawkins, David Ronald Kernell. Johnny Carl Kernell, Randall "Crow" Kernell; Nieces and Nephews: Heather Kernell Prince, Mickey Kernell, Kevin Hawkins, Brandy Kernell, Heather Sidwell, and Bobby Ledford.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Dean Mabe will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Nelson Cemetery in Monroe, TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 15th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Roy Lee Seber.
