Mr. Charles Davis Malone age 81 of Livingston, TN passed away on Monday June 17, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Gainesboro, TN on March 27, 1932 to the late Monroe and Elizabeth (Davis) Malone. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father who always took care of his family, often working long hours and double shifts to ensure a successful life. Charles will also be remembered as a great lover of nature- from cutting his grass, to planting his garden, to hiking in Alaska, to hunting game both small and large, to flying his plane throughout the Midwest- he enjoyed every minute spent outdoors. After retiring to Livingston, he spent hundreds of hours helping organize, equip, and activate the Fairground Volunteer Fire Department. He strongly supported social justice issues, the independent rights of his fellow citizens, and was of the Church of Christ faith. He always enjoyed his morning coffee group at Hardee's, a good laugh and a big piece of apple pie with a tall glass of milk. He will be missed by all who loved him and will cherish his memory for the remainder of their lives.
