Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 @ 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston, TN with burial to follow in the Concord Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, November 1, 2012 from 6-9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Bobby Davis.

Mr. James David Russell age 74 of Cookeville, TN passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

He was born in Claborn County, TN on November 2, 1937 to the late Horace and Elizabeth (Killon) Russell.

He is survived by: Wife: Juanita Maxine (Hawkins) Russell; 1 Daughter: Gwen Russell Tayes and husband Mark; 1 Son: J.D. Russell and wife Tena; 1 Brother: Jimmy Russell; 2 Sisters: Evelene Thaxton and Donna Lee Brandenburg; 6 Grandchildren: Cortney Brooke Johnson, Chloe Delane Tayse, Joshua Russell. Jeremy Russell, David Hamilton, and Heather Hamilton; 4 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by: In addition to his parents: 2 Sisters: Doshie West and Ada White; and 4 Brothers: Rosco Russell, William Russell, Estel Russell, and Rodger Russell.
