DECEASED: Mr. David R. Kernell age 60 of Livingston, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 06, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. David R. Kernell was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on April 4, 1959 to the late Floyd L. and Dorothy E. (Bumblough) Kernell. David was a carpenter by trade. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. David loved his family very much and will be greatly missed Byrdstown  all who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Diann (Smith) Kernell; 1 Son: David C. Kernell and Partner Duston T. Johnson; 1 Daughter: Dana D. Kernell and Derrick Copeland; 1 Granddaughter: Draya Kernell; 2 Sisters: Betty Mabe, Lela Ann Ledford; 2 Brothers: Mike Kernell, Rick Kernell; Also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; 3 Brothers: Shirley Kernell, Johnny Kernell, Randall Kernell; 1 sister: Linnie Marie Hawkins; 2 Nephews: Michael Leon Kernell, Kevin Hawkins.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. David R. Kernell will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 12 Noon from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Nelson Cemetery located in Monroe, Overton Co. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, August 11 ^th starting at 6 PM until 9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Roy Lee Seber.
