DECEASED: Mr. Earl D. Matthews age 80 of Livingston passed away at his residence on Wednesday afternoon December 19, 2018.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Earl D. Matthews was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN to the late Robert E. Lee Matthews and Leta O. Bilbrey Matthews on May 30, 1938.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Mary Langford Matthews of Livingston, TN; 1 Daughter: Sherry Clinard and husband Chris of Cookeville, TN; 2 Granddaughters: Krista Cross and husband Chris of Livingston, TN, Brittany Rush and husband Nicholas of Allons, TN; 1 Great Granddaughter: Kaylee Cross; 1 Great Grandson: Sawyer Cross; 2 Brothers: Horace Matthews and wife Lena of Cookeville, TN, Hoyet Matthews and wife Louise of Rickman, TN; 1 Sister: Pauline Spicer and husband Clarence of Rickman, TN; A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents, his first wife: Hazel Matthews; 2 Brothers: Ray Matthews and Claude Matthews; 2 Sisters: Florence Anna Hall and Frances Matthews

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Earl D. Matthews will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2 PM in the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Poplar Springs cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 8 AM until 2 PM at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Rick Cross.
