Memorial services will be held at 6 PM, Saturday, June 23, 2012 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. The family has chosen cremation and no graveside services will be held. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, June 23, 2012 from 4-6 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Harold Reeder. Mr. Edward Cordell Smith age 81 of Livingston passed away at the Livingston Clinic on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born in Overton County on April 12, 1931 to the late Barlow and Martha Carmack Smith. He is survived by: Wife: Mary Elizabeth Smith of Livingston; 1 Daughter: Angie Krantz and husband Tony of Monterey; 2 Sons: Steve Smith and wife Pamela of Rosville, CA and David Edward Smith and wife Tammy of Rickman; 1 Sister: Melba Puritt of Dandridge, TN; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren also survive.
