DECEASED: Mr. Chester Hall "Jimbo" Melton age 65 of Whitwell, TN Formally of Overton Co. passed away September 12, 2014 in Algood, TN at the Signature Health Care of Putnam Co.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Chester Hall "Jimbo" Melton was born in Albany, Kentucky on September 18, 1948 to the late Chester M. and Lanta Jewellin Hill Melton.
SURVIVORS: 3 Sisters: Margaret Stewart of Livingston, TN Betty Flatt of Bloomington Springs, TN Lanta Shook of Kingston, TN 3 Brothers: Johnny Ray Melton and Perry Roscoe Melton both of Clay Co., TN Paul Melton of Hilham, TN
A host of family and friends also survive.
PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents: 2 Sisters: Cynthina Jane Hummel, Bertie Carol Langford 1 Brother: Lonnie Joe Melton

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held for Mr. Chester Hall "Jimbo" Melton on Monday, September 15, 2014 @ 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Albany, KY. Family will receive friends @ the funeral home on Sunday, September 14, 2014 10 AM to 9 PM . Officiating will be Bro. Marlon Winningham and Bro. Denton Hummel.
