DECEASED: Mr. James Carl Gore age 79 of Livingston passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Overton County Health and Rehab.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. James Carl Gore was born on March 20, 1939 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late R. L. Gore and Lorine Hessie Lewis Gore. He worked at the Overton County Farmer's CO-OP for 45 years. His favorite hobby was whittling. He was a Sunday school superintendent at the Grace Baptist Church for many years. He loved his church family and will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.

Gore of Knoxville, TN; 1 Daughter: Shelia Kennard and husband John of Bradenton, FL; 1 Brother: Edward Gore and wife Venita; 6 GrandChildren: Holly Gore of Fort Myers, FL, Heather Kennard of Bradenton, FL, Ryan Kennard and wife Ashley of Pensacola, FL, Nathaniel Kennard and wife Erin of Livingston, TN, Stefanie Gore of Knoxville, TN, Mathan Gore of Knoxville, TN; Great GrandChildren: Benjamin Kennard of Livingston, TN, Cooper Kennard of Livingston, TN; A host of family and friends also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. James Carl Gore will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11 AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Apline, TN with burial to follow in the Copeland Cemetery in the Oak Grove Community. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 6 PM to 9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. John Copeland.
