DECEASED: Mr. Mikel O. "Booger" Brown age 52 of Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN passed away from this life on Saturday morning, February 9, 2019 at his residence.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Mikel O. "Booger" Brown was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN to the late Oscar and Molissa Vela Hammons. Mikel attended the Ole Country Church located in Sparta, TN. He worked construction as a roofer.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Vickie Brown; 2 Sons: Dereck Brown and Wife Malanny, Tyler Phillips; 2 Daughters: Tasha Cox, Keshia Wood; 7 Sisters: Cindy Day, Lorene Judd, Dalphine Smith and husband Donnie, Linda Faye Buck, Kay Ralley, Marlinda Smith;Pauline Allen and husband Ronnie; 4 Brothers: Willard Hammond, Paul Brown, David Brown, V.Y. Verse Brown and wife Brenda; 10 grandchildren also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Mikel O. "Booger" Brown will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Eckles Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 11, 2019 starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. officiating the service will be Bro. Nathan Hawkins.
