DECEASED: Mr. Billy Joe Matthews age 74 of Livingston, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 with his family by his side at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Billy Joe Matthews was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on December 29, 1942 to the late Robert and Ruby (Garrett) Matthews. He worked construction as a mechanic. Billy will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Louise Matthews; 2 Sons: Michael Joe Matthews, Mark Wayne Matthews and his wife Kim; 1 Sister: Mary Francis fleming and her husband Donald; 1 Brother: Jerry Matthews and his wife Barbara; 5 Grandchildren: Brandon Matthews and his wife Whitney, Kelli Smith and her husband Jake, Macey Matthews, Megan Cobble and her husband Levi, Marcus Walker; 1 Great Grandson: Ezra Davidson. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held for Mr. Billy Joe Matthews, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, February 17, 2017 starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Nolan Cantrell.
