DECEASED: Mr. James "Bear" "8 Ball" Hammock age 68 of Monroe, Overton Co., TN passed away from this life on Wednesday morning, April 18, 2018 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. James "Bear" "8 Ball" Hammock was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on April 15, 1950 to the late Curtis William and Celia Geneva Eldridge Hammock. He was a member of the Baptist faith and he loved playing pool, Raising and hunting dogs, fishing, and just hunting wild life in general.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Rebel Hammock; 2 Daughters: Lori Reagan and Jamey, Sandra Corrow and Ray; 2 Sisters: Reba Dulworth, Hessie Mae Honeycutt and Ruey; 3 Grandchildren: Savannah Carmack and Miguel Hernandez, Devon Muria and Jacob, Harrison "Bubba" Carmack; 1 Great Grandchild: Alucard Hernandez. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents: 2 Brothers: Claude Hammock, Carl Hammock; 1 Niece: Stacy Lynn Hammock; 1 Nephew: Ricky Lee Hammock.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. James "Bear" " 8 Ball" Hammock will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 7 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Family has chosen cremation after the service. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, April 21, 2018 starting at 5 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Jeff Short.
