Mrs. Juanita B. Rich age 79 of Byrdstown, Pickett Co., TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior and the love of her life on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at her residence. Services for Mrs. Juanita will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11 AM from the Byrdstown 1 ^st Baptist Church in Byrdstown, Pickett Co., TN; the family will welcome friends at the church on Friday evening, Oct. 8 ^th starting at 5 PM to 9 PM, then on Saturday morning starting at 8 AM before the service. Bro. Jeff Amonett and Dr. Bill Taylor will officiate.

Juanita was born on Sunday, February 15, 1942 to the late Johnny and Martha (Neal) Booher. She met and fell in love with Morris Rich at the young age of 14. They married when she was 16 years old, and had 58 wonderful years together. With an entrepreneurial spirit, they successfully ran M & J Grocery, Juanita's Hair Salon, Country Classic Home Furnishings, and their family farm on Clark Mountain. Juanita and Morris had two children, Nathan Wayne Rich and his wife Tina, and Johnnye Alisa Davidson and her husband Bobby. Together they built a wonderful life, with a foundation of faith and love of family. Their two children went on to marry and have six grandchildren, Alisa Davidson, Angela (Eric) Slaven, Ashley (Jade) Davidson, Wesley (Katie) Rich, Chase (Abby) Rich, Hunter (Samantha) Rich and eight great grandchildren. Their family brought them great joy, and many wonderful memories. Juanita loved her family, friends, and community. During her younger years, she enjoyed being a hairdresser. She loved her clients and their families like her own. Juanita never met a stranger, and was often found sitting at the Dixie talking to friends and visitors with a smile on her face. On Tuesday October 5, 2021 after a short battle with cancer, she was called home to be reunited with the love of her life, and to meet Jesus, her Lord and Savior. If you knew her for many years or just a short time, Juanita left her mark! She will be greatly missed, and forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
