Deceased: Mrs. Sheila Ann Savage Overstreet age 63 of Algood, Putnam Co., TN passed from this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her residence.
PERSONAL INFO: Sheila was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on Monday, August 18, 1958 to Helen (Spear) Savage and the late Wade Savage of Clay County, TN. She was a member of Freedom Church. After graduating Celina high School and continuing her education, she moved to Nashville for many years before settling in Algood with her family. While living in Algood, she developed and established her successful business, The Southeast Advertiser. Sheila was a devoted mother to her son, William and late daughter Ashley. Her granddaughter, Willow Grace was the light of her life, and they loved spending time together. As a loving daughter to her mother, Helen, they enjoyed making many memories at the beach and lake. Sheila was a very family oriented person; she loved time spent with her sisters, nieces, grandnieces, nephews, and grandnephews. Her kind, generous spirit always shined through as she always helped those in need. Sheila was a lifelong lover of Dale Hollow Lake and spent many enjoyable days on her houseboat at Sunset Marina with family and friends. As an avid Tennessee Titans fan, she loved going to games every season with her mother, son and special friend, Tony Aguiar.
SURVIVORS: 1 Son: William (Kristie) Overstreet of Cookeville, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Willow Grace Overstreet; Mother: Helen Savage of Hestand, KY; 3 Sisters: Sherri (Terry) Ford of Hestand, KY, Deborah Savage (John Bartlett) of Cookeville, TN, and Cathy Andrews of Chattanooga, Tn, formerly of Cookeville; Nieces Jade Bartlett of Chattanooga, TN, Crystal (Howard) Saresky of Cincinnati, OH; Nephew, Nathan (Crystal) Ford of Hestand, KY; special cousins Teresa Davis, Rhonda Hurd, and Timmy Boles; very special friend, Tony Aguiar of Cookeville; Richard Overstreet, father of William and Ashley; and a host of aunts, cousins, grandnieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: Her Daughter: Ashley Overstreet; Father: Wade Savage.
Pallbearers: Tony Aguiar, James Bartlett, Eric Dyer, Josh Flatt, Nathan Ford, Joseuph Burks.
Services / Burial: Funeral services for Mrs. Sheila Ann Savage Overstreet will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12 noon from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Freedom #2 Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening Sept. 10 th starting at 3 PM until 8 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Jamie Seals.
