DECEASED: Mrs. Carlene Alice McBride age 69 of Cookeville, Overton Co., TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 02, 2020 at her residence.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Carlene Alice McBride was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on November 17, 1950 to the late Gib and Audie (Bilbrey) Dishman. Carlene Alice McBride worked at LBJ & C for over 20 + 3 years. She was passionate about her job and her children under her care. She graduated at Tennessee Tech, with a degree in Human Ecology and specialized in Family Relationship and Child Development. She cherished her work family. She loved everyone unconditionally especially her family and her grandbabies. She loved being a teacher but, most of all she loved her Father-In-Heaven. She will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Rev. Lester G. McBride; 2 Sons: Johnathan David McBride and his wife Betty, Jody Allen McBride; 2 Daughters: Angela McBride Tinnon, Ammie McBride Huddleston and her husband Dr. Charles T. Huddleston; 5 Grandsons: Blake Goolsby, Joshua M. Tinnon, Carter T. Huddleston, Charles "Austin"Huddleston, Samuel William McBride; 3 Granddaughters: Sara Eleson Faith Tinnon, Kara Aliceson Rose Tinnon, Abbey Grace Tinnon; 2 Brothers: Leonard Dishman, Ricky Dishman; 3 Sisters: Mendy Trevino, Jeannie Kellogg, Patsy Dishman.

PALLBEARERS: Johnathan McBride, Jody McBride, Joshua M. Tinnon, Blake Goolsby, Carter T. Huddleston, Austin Huddleston.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Mrs. Carlene Alice McBride can be viewed by close family only, from 12 - 1 PM. It will be limited to 10 person at one time in viewing area with a rotating schedule. Social distancing rules will apply. She will be transported to Carter-Bilbrey Cemetery at 2 PM for a very small intimate gathering with message delivered by Rev. Paul Stringer.  The family request that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Leukemia Foundation.
