DECEASED: Mr. Richard A. Averitt age 64 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Richard A. Averitt was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on Saturday, June 07, 1958 to the late J.B. and Leona McDonald Averitt. Richard was the office manager at the First Christian Church for 42 years. He had a lot of accomplishments in his life; he sung in the choir and also in the Bell Choir. He went annually to Black Mountain, North Carolina for Christ Mount meetings. He loved his church and family, and was always ready to give encouragement and kindness to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by his church community very much along with his loved ones as well.

SURVIVORS: 1 Sister: Peggy Averitt Endicott; 1 Niece: Bethany Endicott Their and several cousins.

SERVICES/BURIAL: A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 3 PM at the First Christian Church in Livingston. The family will welcome friends at the church on Saturday, July 30 ^th starting at 6 PM until 9 PM then on Sunday, 31 ^st starting at 1 PM to 3 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. James Shenko. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers Mr. Richard's memory to the Bethany Hills Camp by contacting the First Christian Church or donating directly to the church. The family would like to thank Trish Vaughn, Sarah Hogue, and members of the church from the bottom of our hearts for all your help and support during this difficult time.
