Mrs. Lassie Short, 89, of Gallatin, formerly of Union Hill Community of Clay Co., TN. passed away Monday, May 19, 2008 at Brandywood Nursing, in Gallatin, TN. Mrs. Short was born in Clay Co., Tennessee on February 6, 1919, the daughter of the late Willie and Flora (Denton) Armer. She was a Housewife and a member of the Hartsville Pike Church of Christ Mrs. Short is survived by 3 daughters: Anna Lee Cherry of Whitleyville, TN.. Nina Dean Price of Indianapolis, IN. Ritta Joan McPeak of Gallatin, TN. 1 son: J. C. Short of Brentwood, TN. 6 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren She is also survived by 2 sisters: Essie Smith of Whitleyville, TN., and Wealtha Strong of Celina, TN.
