Miss Kayelyn Diane Garrett, 21 years of age, passed away at The Medical Center of Albany in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, May 01, 2025. Kayelyn was born in Livingston, Tennessee on Sunday, April 18, 2004 to Jeremy Garrett and Tabbatha Dishman.
Kayelyn was preceded in death by her paternal Grandfather: Michael "Dooley" Garrett.
Kayelyn is survived by her parents: Jeremy (Misti) Garrett of Livingston, Tennessee, and Tabbatha (T. J.) Dishman of Monticello, Kentucky, and her God-parents: Jacob and Shay Boswell of Livingston, Tennessee. She is also survived by two brothers: Austin (Sierra) Garrett of Monticello, Kentucky, and Cody (Addisen) Garrett of Livingston, Tennessee; and four sisters: Traily Estell of Livingston, Tennessee, Taylor Estell of Moss, Tennessee, Megan Keen of Livingston, Tennessee, and Malia Dishman of Monticello, Kentucky. Kayelyn is also survived by her Grandparents: Diane and Jimmy Stearns of Livingston, Tennessee, Nancy Knowlton of Algood, Tennessee, James and Tina Qualls of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and Mary and Tommy Dishman of Monticello, Kentucky. Several Aunts and Uncles also survive.
Kayelyn entered into the National Guard at the age of seventeen and was still actively serving four years later at the time of her death. She loved her family and spending time with them was her favorite thing to do, she especially loved the babies in the family. In addition to spending time with her family, Kayelyn loved shopping, spending time with her friends, and Tik Tok. She enjoyed collecting Challenge Coins and reading fantasy books. She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time on the lake.
Serving as Pallbearers are Austin Garrett, Cody Garrett, Travis Kelley, Christopher Sullivan, Ryan Moshak, and Tood Guigar.
The family will receive friends at Hall Funeral Home, 2106 Cookeville Highway, Livingston, Tennessee Sunday, May 04, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and then again on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home officiated by Jacob Boswell and David Sadler. The funeral service will be followed by burial at Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston, Tennessee.
