Mrs. Joyce Loftis Young, age 70 of Livingston, TN, passed away at the Livingston Regional Hospital on Monday, August 3, 2009. Mrs. Joyce Loftis Young was born in Overton County, TN on April 17, 1939 to the late Robert and Willie Gore Nolen. She was a member of the Livingston Church of Christ. Mrs. Young is survived by: Husband: Jerry Young of Livingston, TN; 2 Daughters: Sherrye Smith and husband Steve of Cumming, GA and Robin Cleary of Falls Church, VA; 1 Son: Jamie Loftis and wife Amy of Livingston, TN; 2 Granddaughters: Amy Cleary of Falls Church, VA and Brooklynn Loftis of Livingston, TN; 1 Great Granddaughter: Erin Sullivan of Falls Church, VA; 1 Sister: Bobbie Sells of Livingston, TN; 1 Brother: Claude Nolen of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by: In addition to her parents; 2 Brothers: Chalmer Nolen and Oscar Nolen.
