In Loving Memory of Johnnie Bill Bilbrey

Johnnie Bill Bilbrey, age 86, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. A hardworking man with a heart as steady as his hands, Johnnie spent his life staying busy—building, fixing, repurposing, and always finding a way to make something useful again. That same dedication carried into the way he loved: deeply, selflessly, and without condition.

Johnnie was a true family man, the kind of person who would do anything for the people he loved. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a cherished brother. His presence brought comfort, strength, and warmth to those around him, and his love will continue to live on through the generations of his family.

A faithful man of God, Johnnie lived with humility, kindness, and quiet strength. His faith guided his life and shaped the way he treated others, leaving behind an example of grace, patience, and compassion.

Johnnie's life was one of love, faith, and hard work. His legacy lives on in the family he built, the values he passed down, and the countless memories held by those who loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will remain forever in the hearts of his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonzie Louise Bilbrey; his son, Jackie Adams; his daughter, Linda Cobble; his mother and father Chammie Claude and Loretta Bilbrey.

He is survived by his daughter, Billie Louise Auberson and husband Ronnie; his grandchildren, Gregory Auberson, Christie Ferrell and husband Barry, Brittney Shokoui and husband Cody; his great-grandchildren, Jonathan Leftwich, Aspen Poston and husband Austin, and Cierra Ferrell; and his great-great-grandchildren, Jonah, Eloise, and Caleb; special friend Mary Magdalene Daily.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 2 PM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Carter Bilbrey Cemetery; the family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, January 12th starting at 6 PM until 9 PM.
