DECEASED:  Mr. Joel "Joey" Billy Thompson age 69 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Sunday, November 03, 2024 at his residence.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Joel 'Joey" Billy Thompson was born on Monday, November 22, 1954 in Anderson, Madison Co., Indiana to the late Billie C and Carlene (Carter) Thompson. Mr. Thompson graduated from Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana in 1974 worked at Guide Lamp in Anderson and retired after 30 years. He was a avid bowler at Bowling World-bowled on several leagues. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Livingston, he was strong in his faith, rarely missed church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Joey will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

SURVIVORS: 1 Sister: Janice Thompson (Todd Cooper) of Livingston, TN; 3 Brothers: Bobby Thompson (Janie) of Rickman, TN, Anthony Thompson of Cookeville, TN, Jackie Thompson of Anderson, IN; Special close friends: Don Petsinger, Doug Brown, Jeff Smith, Nathan Buck, Phillip Buck, P.D. Smith, Ex-wife Rita Thompson, Step Daughter Brianna Ledbetter; A host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Joel "Joey" Billy Thompson will be held on Saturday, November 09, 2024 at 2 PM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 9th starting at 11 AM until the 2 PM service time. Officiating with the service will be Bro.
