DECEASED: Mr. Joe Clenton Cox age 70 of Rickman, Overton Co., TN passed from this life into Glory after a hard fought illness in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving wife Bernice Kilgore Cox and family.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Joe Clenton Cox was born in Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana to Eva Lois Driver and the late Joe Cecil Cox Wednesday, August 19, 1953. Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Carpenter by trade, until he answered the call to preach, after which he became the Pastor of House of Prayer and Promise in Rickman, TN. Alongside his wife of 21 years, he served the Lord and the Rickman Community, sharing and spreading the gospel to anyone who would listen, and many who wouldn't. Joe loved to hunt and fish.

SURVIVORS: The love of his life, wife Bernice Kilgore Cox; Daughters: Christina (Steve) Mitchell of McMinnville, TN, Melissa (Charlie) Furbee of Rickman, TN, Debbie Jo (Josh) Tuttle of Tullahoma, TN; Son: Joseph Hale of McMinnville, TN; Bonus Children: Nick "Billy" Byford; Daughters: Julia (Darren) Norris of Oakdale, TN, Kacie (Josh) Houser of Cookeville, TN. 3 Grandsons: Tyler Mitchell, Michael Austin Greene, Jacob Hernandez; Bonus Grandsons: Dakoda Norris, Jonah Norris; 2 Great Grandsons: Lake Mitchell, Reese Mitchell; 3 Granddaughters: Trisha Mitchell, Mariah Cox; Bonus Granddaughters: Emma Jo Houser, Adie Houser, Amelia Houser, Sarah Kate Norris, Chloe (Cox) Johnson, Alayna Grace , Emory Faith Hale. Several nieces, nephews, and special friends in the ministry. PRECEDED IN DEATH: Father: Joe Cecil Cox; Infant Son: Michael Joseph Cox; Infant Grandson: Zeddicus Houser; 1 Brother: Richard Middleton; 1 Sister: Pamela Hitchcock.
