Mr. Jimmy "Butter" Cote age 41 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025.  He was born on Wednesday, March 30, 1983 in Grosspointe, Michigan to Chris Cote and to the late Sanie Cote.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bonnie and Frank Strong, and Luther Coffee, and by his aunt: Kay Coffee.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters: Addison Jane Cote and Madelyn Elizabeth Cote, both of Macomb, Michigan; his dad: Chis Cote of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, his grandmother: Betty Cote, his sister: Tonya Cote of Livingston, Tennessee, his neices: Lily Hargis and Harper Vandomelen both of Livingston, Tennessee; his nephews Caleb Hargis, Quaid Hargis, and hudson Womack all of Livingston, Tennessee; there are also several aunts, uncles, and cousins that survive, all of which Jimmy loved dearly.

Jimmy enjoyed cooking, fishing, and the out doors.  He alway wanted to life off of the grid.  His daughters were his life.

Honorary pallbearers include Tim Coffee, Kevin Coffee, Jacob Coffee, Josh Coffee, Tony Coffee, Wendy Maddox, Isiac Hargis, Cindy Hudson, Nate Hargis, Ayden Coffee, and Brodey Coffee.

Memorial Services for Mr. Jimmy Cote will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 4:00 PM in the Tea Room at the Standing Stone State Park.
