Mrs. Jewel Dean (Hicks) Bennett, age 82, of Rickman, TN passed away peacefully at her home on December 15, 2023 with her loving husband by her side.

Mrs. Bennett was born on April 25, 1941 to the late Alfred and Hallie Hicks. She enjoyed spending time outside sitting on the porch with her husband, working in the garden, and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed sewing, shopping, and especially loved having Sunday dinners with her family. Jewel's big smile, wonderful sense of humor, and the enormous love she had for her family will always be remembered.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clyde (Junior) Bennett; Son Terry Bennett and wife Arlisa; Sister Joyce Smith and husband Larry; Grandchildren Lana Richards and husband Dakota, Lance Holland and wife Leslie, and Kassie Reeder and husband TJ; Great-grandchildren Cade Reagan, Logan Holland, and Easton Holland. Mrs. Bennett is also survived by a host of family and loved ones that will miss her dearly.

Jewel was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Hallie Hicks; Siblings Carman Hicks, Carvel Hicks, Clara Gross, Cassie Pisciotta, Carlie D Hicks, Caston Hicks, Lillian Hicks, and Janell Nelson; Son Tony Bennett.

Services for Mrs. Bennett will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 at 12 PM from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Monday officiating. Burial will follow in Eckel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, December 17th from 6 to 9 PM and Monday, December 18th from 10 AM to the time of the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Johnson, Darryl Nelson, Lance Holland, Dakota Richards, Cade Reagan, TJ Reeder. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Easton Holland and Evan Barnhart.
