Mr. James Swann, 86, of Paducah, KY. passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at his resodence in Paducah, KY. Mr. Swann was born in California on Aug. 18, 1921, the son of the late Henry Clay and Nora (Fleming) Swann. He Served in the U.S. Navy during WW II He was the Operation Supervisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a member of the Church of Christ. He also helped to organize the Celina Fire Department. Survived by his wife, Mary Swann of Paducah; 1son, Dwight F. Swann of Paducah; 1 sister, Linda Dumat; 1 granddaughter, Dana Swann
