Mr. James L. Kennedy, age 77 of Livingston, passed away at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville on Thursday, March 19, 2009. Mr. Kennedy was born on April 7, 1931 in Pickett County, TN to the late Henry and Lurdie Parsons Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy is survived by: His Wife: Laura Kennedy; 5 Children: Carol Beaty, Mayblean Ayers, Jeff Hammons, Sharon Ray, and Pam McPherson; 16 Grandchildren: Tim Covey, Jody Kennedy, Joshua Kennedy, Amanda Reece, James Allen, Lucan Smith, Jennifer Smith, Jamie Smith, Jamie Stevens, Kelly Hill, Ashley Rush, Wayne Hammons, Brandon Breeding, Ethan Ray, Shawn Flowers, Jessica Hammons, and Joey Ogletree; 19 Great Grandchildren: Joseph Covey, Kimberly Covey, Joshua Covey, Alicia Minshall, Jacob Minshall, Bethany Allen, Mary Allen, Andrew Smith, Macayla Smith, Macenzie Smith, Mazy Stevens, Abby Stevens, Jacie Stevens, McKenzie Hill, Clayton Hill, Rebecca Hammons, Shelby Flowers, Dawson Ogletree, and Simon Ogletree; 1 Sister: Aramith Fulton; and 2 special friends: Larry Stover and Priscilla Adams.
