James Willard Freeman, age 77 of Cookeville, TN., passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Cookeville Regional Hospital. Mr. Freeman was born, November 12, 1948 to the late Herman Freeman and Mildred Flo Maynord Freeman Reels.

Mr. James Freeman was a veteran of the US Army and Army National guard for 23 years. Jim was also a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Rickman, TN.

Mr. James Freeman is survived by his wife, Paula Stockton Freeman of 57 years, one son; James Scott Freeman, special friend; Julie Tulideski, two brothers; Richard Freeman and Paul Freeman, and several cousins also survive.

Graveside Service will be, Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00PM at the Martin Cemetery in Overton County, TN. Bro. Tim Wilson will hold the service.

Pallbearers will be, Charles Hammock, Jerry Norrod, Jason Ferrill, Derek King, Brent Cross, and Derek Harris.
