Mr. Herman Carl Bowers was born in Overton County July 12, 1918 to the late Clay Bowers and Willie Ledbetter Bowers. Mr. Bowers passed away at the Sumner County Medical Center Monday morning November 19, 2007. He is survived by his wife: Thelma Thompson Bowers, 1 Daughter: Linda Flatt and husband Jerry of Hendersonville, Tn. 1 Son Larry Bowers and wife Marcene of Southside, Al., 2 Grandchildren: Stephen Flatt and Amanda Flatt Prichard and husband Jason, 1 Great Grandchild: Maddox Prichard.
