Henry (Rocky) Lenartowicz

On December 18th, Rocky fell asleep in the arms of Jesus surrounded by his loving wife of 41 years.

He valiantly battled cancer for four years, never complaining. They moved to Tennessee 13 years ago and lived a peaceful life together. He was born in Trenton NJ in 1956 to the late Henry J. Lenartowicz Jr. and the late Joan J. (Pappano) Lenartowicz. He attended Notre Dame High School Class of 1974 and graduated from Trenton State College with a BS in Criminal Justice. After attending the Police Academy , he worked for 25 years as a Sheriff's Officer for Mercer County Sheriff's Office in Trenton NJ.

In 1984 on Valentine's Day, he married the love of his life, Laurie D. ( Salbego) Lenartowicz who survives him.  He is survived by two Brothers, Frank (Anita Warning) Lenartowicz of Stafford NJ and Michael (Ramona) Lenartowicz of Morrisville PA. Two daughters survive him, Jennifer Salmestrelli and Angelina (Miguel) Cunha and three Grandchildren, Ryu, Charlotte and Jade. Henry also leaves behind a niece, Lisa(Eric) Schnorr, a nephew, Evan(Azia) Salbego, two great nephews, Max and Alex of Maplewood NJ, a sister in law, Barbara(Bill)?Cotte of Washington, NJ. He leaves several Cousins and Aunts as well. Rocky enjoyed classic cars, guitars and fine cigars. He was a former member of Central Jersey Classic Car Club and a current member of Cookeville Coin Club.

There will be no visitation or burial. After cremation, a Life Celebration will be held at their home at a date to be announced at the convenience of the family.
