DECEASED:  Helen Sue Ray Whited "Rhodie" age 80 of Jamestown, Fentress Co., TN and formally of Allons, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Saturday night, July 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by family that loved her.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:  Helen Sue Ray Whited was born in Allons, Overton Co., TN on Sunday, April 23, 1944 to the late Thomas William and Josie Delilah (Sebers) Ray. Helen loved her family very much, loved spending time with them. She was so loved and will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Deletta Mechelle Ray Sandra Denise Whited Sells; Amber White Hurst, Ashley Michelle Whited, Emily Brooke Whited Cates and her husband Jordan, favorite granddaughter,Taylor Cheyenne Whited, Katina Sells Pryor, Angela Carol Brown, Ariel Faith Sells; 13 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren;3 Siblings: Jolene Ledbetter, Tommie Hensley and her ex husband Robert, Shirley Smith and husband Thomas; ; Sisters in-law: Sandra Ann Ray. Brother in-law: Lloyd Sandifer. Special friends: Melissa Sullivan,Tina Cart, Tammy Perkins; 3 Nieces, 7 Nephews; A host of other family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; 2 children: Darrell Whited, Richard Earlon Whited;  Siblings: Thomas William Ray, JR (infant ), Joyce Sandifer , Connie Gunnels, Bobby Ray (infant), Betty Davis , Dallas Ray. Grandparents: Willard and Sissy (Hall) Ray, Gordon Louis and Ulla (Bilbrey) Seber. Brother in-law: Danny Ledbetter.

PALLBEARERS: Tim Sells, Dale Maxfield, Taylor Whited, Brayden Hurst.

SERVICES/BURIAL:  Graveside services for Helen Sue Ray Whited (Rhodie) will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11 AM from the Hunter Cove Cemetery in the Hunter Cove Community of Overton Co., TN. Family will welcome friends at the Graveside. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Gillis Akins.
