Mr. Gerald William Richards, age 79, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away at his residence surrounded by his family Friday, June 13, 2025, in Cookeville, Tennessee.  Gerald was born Monday, October 01, 1945, in Barberton, Ohio to the late Robert and Faye Smith Richards.  He was retired from Fleetguard after 30 years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his son: Jeff Richards.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 60 years: Linda Faye Wilson Richards; daughter: Michelle (Dwayne) Loftis, two grandsons: Dakota (Lana) Richards, and Brent (Graci) Loftis; two great-grandsons: Hudson Loftis, and Cade Reagan; brothers: Ron Richards of Stockport, Ohio, and David Richards of Huber Heights, Ohio.

The family has chosen to honor Mr. Richards final wishes to cremate, no services are planned at this time.  The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care of Mr. Richards.
