A devoted family man Gerald's legacy is woven with kindness, wisdom, and a passion for life. His gentle spirit and warm smile touched the hearts of all who knew him, Gerald was a skilled carpenter by trade, leaving an indelible mark with the work of his hands, his craftsmanship reflected not only precision but also a labor of love.  Beyond the workshop, he embodied a generous spirit, never hesitating to extend a helping hand to anyone in need, Gerald's dedication to his family was unwavering, showcasing a profound commitment to creating a warm and nurturing home, his strong work ethic was a testament to his character, and the memories of his hardworking nature will endure as a source of inspiration for generations to come, may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration during this difficult time, Gerald is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Orle Ferrell and Claudie, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished family bonds. In their reunion beyond this life, may their spirits find eternal peace together. Gerald is survived by his wife Jeanette Ferrell, his two sons Barry and wife Christie Ferrell, Travis Ferrell, brothers Danny and wife Wanda Ferrell, Jimmy and wife Barbara Ferrell, sister Carolyn Bilbrey, stepsons Steve and wife Lori Mosley, Brad and wife Jenny Mosley, Jay and Shane Mosley, Stepdaughter Wendy and husband Jonathan Smith, grandchildren Jonathan, Brittney, Aspen, Cierra, Abby, Felicity, Makayla, Bray, Hallie, Bryer, Carley, and Quentin, Seth, SaraAnn, Shayleigh, Sophia, Sawyer, Silas and great grandchildren Jonah, Eloise, Stella and Waylon.  To serve as pallbearers: Travis Ferrell, Barry Ferrell, Austin Poston, Jonathan Leftwich, Steve Mosley, Brad Mosley, Jonathan Smith, Michael Ferrell, Jonathan Ferrell. Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Ferrell will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2 PM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Old Union Cemetery in Hilham, Overton Co., TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, January 20th starting at 6 PM to 9 PM. Officiating with the services will be Bro. Mark Loftis and Bro.
