Georgia Honeycutt was born January 3, 1929 in Overton County, Tennessee and passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was a committed follower of Christ and member of One Eleven Fellowship in Cookeville, Tennessee. She loved people, friends and family. She was best known for her quilting, baking and working in manufacturing. Her legacy lives on with the family by the values she passed down and many memories they share.

Visitation will be Thursday at 12pm February 5, 2026 at Hall Funeral Home and the Celebration of Life following at 2 PM. Pastor Roger Cooper will be conducting the service.

Ms. Honeycutt was survived by her children: Janet Phillips (Dan), Ruey Honeycutt, Eric Honeycutt (Suzanne), Alan Honeycutt (Jan). Grandchildren: Melinda McReynolds (Mike), Madison DeWet, Andrew Honeycutt, Reid Honeycutt. Great grandchildren: Jack McReynolds, Luke McReynolds, Honey DeWet plus many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Honeycutt is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Honeycutt, son, Shannon Honeycutt, granddaughters, Tammy Duke and Tabitha Turner, daughter in law, Hessie Honeycutt, parents, Curtis and Mae Norrod, brothers and sisters, Virgie Kranrtz, Opal Krantz, Bill Norrod, F.B. Norrod, E.C. Norrod, Johnnie Cook, Bennie Oakley,Viola Bowman and Juanella Shea.

The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers at Overton County Nursing and Rehab and a special thank you to her home caregiver, Joan Brown.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Honeycutt, Reid Honeycutt, Mike McReynolds, Rick Carnes, Greg Livingston and Brett Livingston.
