Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Conner, 65, of Monroe, Tennessee passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family members.  Elizabeth was born Saturday, March 26, 1960, in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Bobby Smith and the late Pauline Gore Smith.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by an infant child, Jackie Shannon Smith, her brother, Bobby Smith, Jr., and her sister Teresa Abbott.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie Conner who not only gave Elizabeth his love, but also gave her the best of care.  Lonnie remained faithfully by her side throughout their marriage and throughout Elizabeth's sickness.  Elizabeth is also survived by her daughters, Melody (David) Lancaster of Livingston, Tennessee, and Cynthia Addison of Knoxville, Tennessee.  Elizabeth had a bonus son, Tony (Amy) Conner who also survives.  Her grandchildren, Coty Ray, Damon Addison, Kristen Addison, and Abby Fisher survive along with her great grandchildren, Nagem, Safaree, Prudence, Kol.  Elizabeth is also survived by her sister, Connie (Ronnie) Scantland, and her brother, Jeff Staggs.  A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Elizabeth loved spending time with her husband and family.  She loved spending time reading her Bible.  She enjoyed the Hallmark Christmas movies, trips to Pigeon Forge, looking at old pictures, and clipping newspapers.

Serving as Pallbearers for Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Conner will be, Coty Ray, Damon Addison, Glen Ford, Tony Ford, Westley Scantland, and Justin Scantland.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home, 2106 Cookeville Highway, Livingston, Tennessee.  Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Conner will be conducted at Hall Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Ogletree officiating.  Interment will immediately follow the services in the Carter-Bilbrey Cemetery in the Highland Mountain Community of Overton County, Tennessee.
