Mr. Elbert Lee Likens, Sr., 80, of Moss, TN. passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 26, 2009. Mr. Likens was born in Glasgow, KY. on April 2, 1928, the son of the late Issach Newton and Maggie (Taylor) Likens. He was a factory worker with Western Electric and a member of Keystone and Moss Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Wife: Lura Likens-Moss, TN.; 5 Sons: Elbert Likens, Jr. and Francis Likens both of Indianapolis, IN., Barry Plumlee of Red Boiling Springs, TN., Bruce Plumlee of Moss, TN., and Ricky Pierce of Celina, TN. 2 sisters: Elvelyn Deckerd and Sue York of Glasgow, KY.; 1 Brother: Ottis Likens of Glasgow, KY.; 8 Granchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
