Mr. Eddie Gene Hargis age 72 of Livingston, TN passed away at his residence on Saturday evening December 1, 2007. He was born in Overton Co. TN to the late Eddie Elmer and Icy Ellen Spurlin Hargis on March 25, 1935. He was a Minister of the Freewill Baptist Church for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Betty Joyce Dixon Hargis of Livingston, TN 1 Son: Duan (Bud) Hargis of The Dry Hollow Comm. in Overton Co. TN 6 Daughters: Sandra Evetts of Jackson Co. TN Sharion (Fay) Wilson of Monterey, TN Karion (Lulu) Lee of Livingston. Debra presley of Livingston, TN Leasa Presley fo Livingston, TN Laura (Sissy) Diamond of Lillydale, TN 2 Sisters: Zula Brown of Crossville, TN Pauline Presley of Rickman, TN 2 Brothers: George Hargis of Livingston, TN Jimmy Hargis of McMinnville, TN 17 Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren: 31 Great Grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: 2 Sisters: Ruby Stinson, Argie Copeland. 1 Brother: Elmer Hargis. 1 Grandson Daniel Gore. 1 Great Grandson D.J. McClintock.
