Donna Lyn Cross, of Monticello, KY, left this world behind July 8 of 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, to return home and be with her savior and all those she loved who passed before her. 

Born November 18 of 1959 in Albany, KY to Lois and Kay Criswell, who preceded her in death along with her loving step-father K.T. Malone, she will be remembered and held sacred in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life with her gentle and kind spirit, her wisdom and discernment, her unfailing devotion to her family and friends, her unbreakable will and strength through a lifetime of tribulation, and most of all her exemplary love for Christ, which was evident in the beautiful piano music she poured her love into in service and ministry to the church.

Donna held a great love for dancing, music, and travelling, but loved spending time with her family above all. She was a loving wife to her husband, taught her boys what it meant to love even when it wasn't easy, and gave the softest hugs any grandchild could want from their Mammy. 

She is survived by her wonderful husband of 34 years, Rickey Cross; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher Cross and his wife Krista, Colby Cross and his wife Samantha; her three grandchildren, Kaylee, Sawyer, and Julian; her brother Rankin Malone and his wife Gayla; her uncle Dallas Jones; her brother-in-law Butch Cross and his wife Saralee. She is additionally survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.

She was loved and will be deeply missed by a great number of people.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hall Funeral Home on July 11, 2026 at 4PM, Visitation will be same day starting at 1PM until time of service at 4PM.
