A celebration of life for Donald Edward Wells will be conducted at Allons Church of Christ on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00, with visitation occurring prior to the celebration of life service from 11:00-1:00.

Donald passed from this life on Wednesday morning, January 1, 2025, from Livingston Regional Hospital following an extended illness from a previous stroke. He was born in Monroe County, Kentucky to the late Willie Sam and Myrtie Belle (Shepard) Wells on October 24, 1940. He was a member of the Allons Church of Christ.  Donald was self-employed, most of his life, with Wells Grain & Feed & Wells Auto Sales. Donald loved his family, spending time on Dale Hollow Lake, and his daily trips to Dairy Queen.  Donald served on both the North Overton Utility District Board and the Allons Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years.  He was recently recognized for both service periods.

Donald leaves behind his wife, Betty Wells of Livingston, TN, a daughter, Teresa Johnson and husband Rick of Rickman, TN, grandchildren Cole Johnson and wife Kenzie of Livingston, TN, Clay Johnson and wife Emmy of Celina, TN and Callie Johnson (Gavin Geralds) of Louisville, KY Great-grandchild, Rhett Allen Johnson "little boy on the mountain" of Livingston, TN and brother Rabon Wells and wife Barbara Gail of Livingston and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Robbins, and brother, James Wells.
