David Wayne Long, age 67, passed away on November 28, 2025. David was born in Livingston, TN on February 8, 1958. David was a brick mason by trade. He loved spending time with his family and friends. If he had any free time, he loved to spend it outdoors hunting ginseng, dry land fishing and arrowheads. David never met a stranger. His favorite thing of all was spending time with his grandson Landon.

David is preceded in death by his father Dallas Long; his sister Judy Long Dickerson and her husband Leland Dickerson. His paternal grandparents, Willis and Ottie Long. His maternal grandparents, Haywood and Eva Mae Turner

David is survived by his wife Rhonda (Cravens) Long and their son, Joshua David Long and his wife Jo of Gainesboro. Along with Andy Paul and his wife Pennie. Grandson Landon Long and his mother Shelby Jean Long. He is also survived by his brothers John Long, Paul Long and his wife Tammy, all of Livingston; his sisters Kimberly Long Davidson and her husband Jamey of Pall Mall, TN, and Kristie Long Whited and her husband Patrick of Livingston. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

David will be missed by many. 

There will be a Celebration of Life for David and Rhonda Long on Saturday, May 23rd, at Falling Springs Cemetery starting at 11AM.
