DECEASED:  Mr. David Kelly Harris age 63 of the Windle Community of Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Monday morning, May 6, 2024 at the Cookeville Regional Hospital.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: David Kelly Harris was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on Wednesday April 5, 1961 to the late Carson and Mildred (Allen) Harris. David was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters; he loved fishing and hunting and he also retired as a machinist of 45 years. David was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dickson and Dr. Johnson for their support and care over the past ten years.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 40 years: Sherry Harris of Rickman, TN; 1 Daughter: Brittney Harris and her fiancé Dannie May of Rickman, TN; 2 very special Granddaughters: Tylee Harris and Madalynn May; 2 Brothers: Michael Harris of Baxter, TN, Donnie Harris (Wanda) of Rickman, TN; 1 Sister: Carol Ann Allen of Dodson Branch Community; Brother In-Law: Joe Harris of Rickman, TN; Sister In-Law: Amy Sells (Allen) of Hardy's Chapel Community; Mother In-Law: Virginia Moody of Rickman, TN; Very special friend and fishing buddy: Chris Thomas; A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH:  In addition to his parents; Grandparents: Shirley and Oma Harris, Claude and Dora Allen; 1 Sister: Anita Sue Harris; Father In-Law: Glen Moody.

PALLBEARERS:  Chris Thomas, Jeff Davis, Josh Dailey, Billy Harris, Eric Harris, Kevin Harris, Ricky England, Blaiden Dailey. Honorary: Donnie Harris, Michael Harris, Gary Webb, Dannie May, Allen Sells.

SERVICES/BURIAL:  Funeral services will be held for Mr. David Kelly Harris will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1 PM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, May 9th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM, then on Friday, 10th starting at 11 AM until the 1 PM service. Officiating with the service will be  Scott Griner and  Ethan Bernhardt. P
