Dan Carson Buck, age 90, of Allons, TN, born October 28, 1934, to Dillard and Vera Buck, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Dan loved life. He enjoyed playing cards at the senior citizens center with his favorite partner. Omegia Blevins. He loved going to the car and truck shows, and to the square for the Pioneer Days or any other events. Dan was known to enjoy working on small engines, strumming on guitars. Later, he enjoyed smiling and meeting new people at the Widow's Barrell. He will be severely missed by family and friends..

He is survived by; his sister Judy(Ken) Warden, his daughters, Donna Phillips of Allons TN, Rita Bilbrey of Livingston TN, and Becky(Jimmy) Hammock of Livingston TN. His son; Larry(Karen) Buck of Timothy TN. Grandchildren; Daniel Phillips, Malana Phillips, Dusty(Chastity) Hammock. Great-grand children; Darrien(Kristen)Phillips, Becca Phillips, Donnie Wayne Phillips, Dakota Hammock and Korra, Abbie Hammock, Anna Grace Hammock, CJ Hammock. Great-great grandchildren; Jaxton, Willow, Hazel and Maple. Dan was also survived by Tammy(Rick) Ledbetter, along with many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Buck, his brother Charles and his wife Jenny Buck, his sister Joan and husband Ronnie Brown, and son-in-law Donnie Phillips.

Pallbearers will be: Grant Spears, Ricky Ledbetter, Darrien Phillips, Donnie Wayne Phillips, and Dakota Hammock.

Funeral Services will be Friday, October 24, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with visitation starting Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 5pm until 9pm, and Friday, October 24, 2025 8:30 until time of service. Officiating service with be John Cahill.

Burial to follow at Overton Co. Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Livingston TN.
