Hubert Cordell Strong was born in Clay Co., Tennessee on August 7, 1926, to the late Evert and Iva (Spivey) Strong.
He served in the U.S. Army as a private in the Korean War.
He was a self employed farmer.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Jerry (Linda) Strong, daughter and son-in-law: Debbie (Barry) Jones, sister: Billie Nell Sullivan, grandchildren: Daniel Louis and Dale Strong.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Rebecca Louise Strong, parents, brother: Joe James Strong, and sisters Verlie Waddell and Elizabeth Edgin.
He served in the U.S. Army as a private in the Korean War.
