Mrs. Clara Mae Norris age 74 of Alpine, TN passed away at College Pines Nursing Center in Valdese, NC on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Mrs. Clara Mae Norris was born in Overton County, TN on April 21, 1935 to the late Mark and Cora Qualls Peek. She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Sheila Mae Norrod of North Carolina and Sherry K. Melton of Rickman; 1 Son: Gerald David Norris of Georgia; 4 Grandchildren: Kristina Hoyle, Grant Norrod, Ashley Norris, and David Norris.
