Mr. Chester Lloyd Carmack, age 86, of Livingston, Overton County, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. Chester was born Tuesday, December 13, 1938 to the late Lloyd and Bronza Hunter Carmack in Allons, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his wife: Scarlett Carmack, his siblings: Clarence Carmack and Cleo Carmack, and his step-daughter Stelisa Roberts.

Chester is survived by his nephew: Kevin Carmack, his nieces: Kineta Carmack and Kim (Bobby) Taylor.  He is also survived by 2 great nephews: Tyler Carmack, Austin Taylor and 2 great nieces: Ashley Taylor breeding, Aleigha Taylor.

Chester attended Allons Elementary and graduated Livingston Academy in 1958.  He served his country in the United States Army.  While in the Army, Chester was in artillery surveying and was stationed in Germany.  He worked over 30 years with the Nashville Bridge Company until he retired.  Upon his retirement, Chester moved back home to his family farm where he took pride in being recognized as a Tennessee Century Farm Program member.  He was a member of the American Legion, the Overton County Historical Society, and Holly Springs Church of Christ.

Funeral Services for Mr. Chester Lloyd Carmack will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home, Livingston, Tennessee with Bro. Bobby Gore and Bro. Bruce Mullinex officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 11:00 AM to the time of the funeral at 2:00 PM.  Burial will immediately follow the funeral service in the Holly Springs Cemetery in Hilham, Tennessee. Serving as pallbearers will be Martin Hunter, Howard Hunter, Anthony Hunter, Randy McCowan, Ben Gilpatrick, Brandon Mullins.
