Charlie William Dailey, age 91 passed quietly in Celina Rehabilitation Center on May 2, 2020.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 70 years, Nell Dean (Ledbetter) Dailey and their two children; Charles Dailey, Hendersonville,TN and Shirley Breedlove of Livingston along with their spouses. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Iva (Dulworth) Dailey.

Charlie had the opportunity to share his life so many. He was "Shanghai" to old friends, "Pa" to his three grandsons- Eugene Johnson of Livingston,TN, Christopher Dailey of Springfield,TN and Shaun Dailey of White House, TN, and "Popi" to his eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A Clay County native with many friends and a sense of humor as big as he was; he will be sadly missed. Among those friends are Bobby and Tina Kerr and his caregiver Emma Brown, whom he thought of as family.

Gravesides services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 11 AM from the Hamilton Addition Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina, Clay Co., TN. Officiating the service will be Bro. Eric Copas.
