DECEASED:

Mrs. Wilma (Thompson) Sherrell age 88 of the Pea Ridge Community of Celina, Clay Co., TN went home to be with her Lord and Savoir on Sunday evening, July 7, 2019 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mrs. Wilma (Thompson) Sherrell was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on Friday, July 25, 1930 to the late Domer D. and Flossie Avo (Webb) Thompson.   Wilma was a member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and they all returned their love for her.

3 Sons: Eddie Dean Sherrell of Celina, TN, Harold Edwin Sherrell of Celina, TN, Nathan Lee Sherrell of Celina, TN; 1 Daughter: Belinda Sherrell McCoy of Salt Lake Bend, KY; 2 Sisters: Betty Webb of Celina, TN, June Teeples of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: Earl Thompson of Tompkinsville, KY; 6 Grandchildren: Kinberly Sherrell, Jason Sherrell, Lee McCoy, Casey McCoy, Katie Sherrell, Bethany Sherrell; 7 Great Grandchildren.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sherrell was also preceded in death by her husband Jesse Edward Sherrell whom she married on Saturday, December 18, 1948.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma (Thompson) Sherrell will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 3 PM from the Rock Springs Church of Christ in Celina, Clay Co., TN with burial to follow in the Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11, 2019 starting at 12 noon. Officiating will be Bro. Nathan Sherrell.
